30 January 2007

A1 Team Australia has unveiled a new look A1GP race car ahead of their home race at Eastern Creek International Raceway. The striking new design was on display at the NRMA Motorfest celebrations on Australia Day, where thousands of people passed by for a glimpse of A1GP action. Sporting a brilliant green and gold combination, the new colours are designed to draw on the patriotism in all Australians and rally the troops behind A1 Team Australia as they head into their home race.

Seat Holder for A1 Team Australia, Alan Jones, said "Green and gold are two colours that are synonymous with Australia and the Team is certainly proud to be representing our country in the A1GP World Cup of Motorsport.

"Karl Reindler and Ian Dyk will both drive over the Sydney race weekend and the entire Team is looking forward to seeing the new look in action at Eastern Creek."
