Durban practice: Duval on top

Loic Duval set the pace in practice in Durban with a 1:18.620s for Team France. He managed to be half a second quicker than Richard Lyons of Ireland who was second whilst championship leaders Germany were third quickest with Nicolas Hulkenberg setting a best of 1:19.350s.

Team New Zealand will be hoping to do better than thirteenth fastest if they expect to put pressure on Team Germany in the title race. Unfortunately, Robbie Kerr was a lowly 2.5 seconds off the pace for Great Britain and ended up 21st.
