Jean-Karl Vernay to race for Team France

A1 Team France announced that Jean Karl Vernay will be the team's rookie driver at the Mexican Grand Prix in the upcoming race weekend. The 19-year-old Frenchman will represent his country in the A1 GP series for the first time.

Jean-Karl Vernay will be racing with the Signature team in the upcoming season in the F3 Euroserie.

Eric Boullier, Team France Manager said: "With the support of the French Federation, we are continuing to set our hopes on the young French drivers of the FFSA Team of France. We are impatient to see Jean Karl on the track and to present him the LOLA A1GP car. Despite his very young experience, we are convinced that he will be able to keep the successes line setup by Nicolas, Alexandre and Loïc and that he will help us to get the second place back from the New Zealand Team."
