Robbie Kerr simultaneously scored Team Great Britian its first pole in 25 races whilst setting the fastest lap of the weekend in the dying seconds of today's qualifying for the Shanghai Grand Prix. Understandably Kerr is delighted with the performance.

"It was just fantastic," Kerr told A1GP.com.
"We made some changes overnight that worked and we pieced it all together to get it right in the last segment. But it was only small tweaks on everything, suspension, aerodynamics and it just made the car work and gave us the grip we needed to do the time.
"The guys got on the radio during the lap to tell me that it was looking like a good lap and I should just keep it together. When I went across the line the guys let off a cheer and I asked what it was for. The reply quickly came back that I was P1 and I had done a mega job.
"After the lap time we did yesterday we knew we would probably be a second a lap quicker in qualifying than we were in practice. But we weren't quite getting there and obviously we were wondering why we hadn't, and the wind had obviously changed direction. We changed the aerodynamics and gearing and just levelled the car out for those things to make it work.
"I'm really happy. The amount of time we took it by - it is fantastic to do it like that."
Kerr will be hoping that he can convert his pole into a maiden A1 GP victory for himself following Team Great Britain's first victory courtesy of Oliver Jarvis a couple of weeks ago in Mexico.
