Germany hopes to end season in style

Germany hopes to end season in style

24 April 2007

A1 Team Germany travels to the finale at Brands Hatch as newly crowned World Cup winners in the A1 GP World Cup of Motorsport. At the eleventh round, staged within sight of the Gates of London between the 27 and 29 April, the Willi Weber managed team targets yet another top result. The team holds an unassailable 23 point lead over the field of 21 other nations since the last round in Shanghai.

Nico Hülkenberg will be the sole representative in A1 Team Germany colours at Brands Hatch. Christian Vietoris, who performed faultlessly as the team's second driver during the Friday "Rookie Sessions" and as race driver at the ninth round in Mexico, starts his new motorsport season on the same weekend in Germany.

"It'll be a fantastic opportunity for me to present the entire squad with an outstanding result as a way of thanking them for the excellent teamwork throughout the season," describes Nico Hülkenberg his feelings. "To race on such a circuit steeped in tradition is really something very special. I'm already looking forward to the enthusiastic British public, the circuit and the race."
