Lebanon name three for test

A1 Team Lebanon has named its three drivers for the official pre-season test at Silverstone next week.

Khalil Beschir, who has been capped eight times for his nation, will be joined by rookies Chris Alajajian and Jimmy Auby.

Beschir and Alajajian both drove the team's car at the recent Snetterton test, and will this time be joined by 20-year-old Auby.

Auby has been racing in the Formula Renault Eurocup series recently, but has driven both open-wheel and saloon cars in his career. He began racing karts at the age of ten, until moving to stock cars at 15.

'It's quite a daunting prospect to get behind the wheel of a 550 horsepower single seater, but I can't wait to give it a go,' Auby said. 'It's a series I've been closely following since the launch and I'll be realising one of my dreams when I drive the car.
