Moreau and Duval to test for Team France

Moreau and Duval to test for Team France

13 September 2007

Former A1GP champion A1 Team France will recall Loic Duval for the second official A1GP test at Silverstone next week. The 25-year-old will be joined at the test, taking place on the Silverstone National circuit, by Nicolas Prost and newcomer Guillaume Moreau.

Moreau, 24, has recently put himself in contention for a test with strong performances in the World Series by Renault. He finished third in one of the races at the most recent meeting at Donington Park, Great Britain. 'Moreau has been good in the World Series car,' said general manager Eric Boullier. 'And it will be good to see Loic in the car again after he ran so strongly for us last season.'

Along with Prost, the team tested fellow former drivers Nicolas Lapierre and Jean-Karl Vernay at the first official test last month.

However, only Prost has been confirmed in the team's line-up this season as the team's main rookie. The team has yet to announce who will drive the races for the team this season, and next week's test could be key to evaluating the line-up.

No decision on the race driver for Zandvoort on 30 September is expected until after the Silverstone test next week.
