A1 Team France has confirmed its driver line-up for the season in a special launch in the nation's capital, Paris. Loic Duval will return to the team, but has been appointed as the squad's main driver for the season, and will race in the season opener in Zandvoort, the Netherlands this weekend.

The 25-year-old was capped eight times for France last season, and immediately impressed, scoring a brace of second places on his debut in Taupo, New Zealand.

He will join Nicolas Prost, son of four-time Formula One world champion Alain, in the squad. Prost was confirmed as the team's official rookie driver last month.

The A1 Team France car, complete with new livery, was the first ever racing car to be launched at Hotel de Crillon on Place de la Concorde, one of the major squares in Paris, France. It is located at the eastern end of the famous Champs-Élysées.

France had special permission from the French Government to launch at the hotel, which is a listed venue. 'It is going to be a close season,' said general manager Eric Boullier. 'But I'm excited about the combination of Loic and Nicolas. We are aiming and high and will try and recapture the A1GP title for France.'
