A1 Team Czech Republic won't make a decision on the team's race driver for their home Grand Prix until the very last minute seat holder Charouz has said. He stated it was nothing against Erik Janis. The team simply preferred to make a decision in the weekend itself.
Speaking about the team's decision Charouz commented: "It is quite normal to nominate more drivers for one weekend and we want to use this possibility for our race event. Tomas has got much more experience comparing to Erik and he has also confirmed that the pain of the left elbow easing off, so he would be able to race at the weekend.
"There is nothing against Erik. If he is quick and cool on Friday he will do the whole weekend. Home race in such a big championship always brings a lot of pressure and we want to be prepared in the best possible way. This is the reason why we have expanded the nomination."
