New Zealand took victory in the 10-lap sprint race at Brno this morning ahead of Great Britain, Ireland, South Africa and the Netherlands.
New Zealand took the lead at the start of the race and never looked back. Britain and Ireland were scrapping for second place before Robbie Kerr settled the battle and kept the position to the flag.
A number of cars were involved in first lap incidents with India having to pit for a new nose and Ireland struggling with some loose bodywork on the car.
By mid-race the leading positions had been set but behind them France was carving through the field, up to sixth and trying to pass the Netherlands, but failing.
