China demonstrates in Jiangmen
02 November 2007A1 Team China continued its build up to next month's home race in Zhuhai with a street display in Jiangmen, in the south of the country.
The team's second driver, Marchy Lee, drove the red and yellow Chinese car along a closed street in front of the city's exhibition centre, which was hosting a motorbike show at the time. An estimated 40,000 people watched the demonstration, which included practice starts and burn outs of the car.
The mayor of Jiangmen and the governors of the Guangdong Province attended, and got the chance to sit in the car while it was stationary to try the tight cockpit out for size.
