David Garza is to return with A1 Team Mexico for this month's races in Taupo, New Zealand. The inexperienced 19-year-old acquitted himself well on his debut in Zhuhai last month, just missing out on a points finish with 11th place in the feature race.
"Zhuhai was the highlight of my racing career so far," said Garza of representing Mexico for the first time. 'A1GP is close racing and I like it a lot. We had a disappointing qualifying - I'm not used to single-lap flyers because I'm more used to 45-minute qualifying. But I got to grips with the car and almost getting a top-ten finish was a good accomplishment for me. It was a little bit of a slippery learning curve but I think we have good grip on it now. I'm really excited about Taupo - it looks a very nice place and a very nice track."
