A1 Team Great Britain driver Robbie Kerr believes he and his team will find the remaining four tenths of a second per lap needed to be in with a chance of challenging for pole position in tomorrow's qualifying sessions.
Kerr, who will become the fourth ever driver to reach 40 caps when he starts the Feature race on Sunday, is returning to the red, white and blue squad for the first time since Brno, Czech Republic last October.
However, despite three months away, Kerr was sixth quickest in this afternoon's free practice session, 0.482 seconds off the pace, set by France's Loic Duval. 'We know where we have got to improve, so we're fairly happy with where we are and we can look forward until tomorrow,' Kerr said. 'Running behind other people, I could see where we were strong and where we were weak.
'There are a few more bumps than last year but it seems to be getting more grip than last year so I'm fairly happy with that. I haven't been in a car for nearly three months now so its good to be back in it. We're at the sharp end of the field and we know we can definitely improve the car for tomorrow.
