Yoong joins Speedcar Series at home Grand Prix

A1 Team Malaysia seat holder and driver Alex Yoong will join this weekend's Speedcar Series to race in front of his home crowd at the Sepang International Circuit. The Speedcar Series will be, like the GP2 Asia series, a support race during the Formula 1 Malaysian Grand Prix.

Former Formula 1 driver Alex Yoong will join other F1 veterans such as Jean Alesi, Johnny Herbert, Stefan Johansson, Ukyo Katayama and Gianni Morbidelli. The Speedcar Series race in Malaysia will be the third round in the championship.
