Germany hoped for more from qualifying

A1 Team Germany starts the A1GP World Cup of Motorsport season finale at Brands Hatch from grid positions nine and five. 22-year old race driver Michael Ammermüller improved dramatically in the fourth qualifying section and, in doing so, jumped onto the third row for the feature race. 

Michael Ammermüller commented, "It went better than yesterday. Things started off well with seventh position in free practice, which showed us that we are on the right way. I'm really looking forward to the feature race because we have a good chance of finishing on the podium starting from fifth place. This would be another highlight to round of the season. It will be important to make a good start. If the pit stops are good anything is possible." 

A1 Team Germany lies in sixth position with 83 points going into the last race of the 2007/2008 season.
