Britain takes home sprint victory

Britain's Robbie Kerr took his third A1 Grand Prix race victory in the sprint race at his home circuit, Brands Hatch today. While he took the top step of the podium, Switzerland stole some of the limelight as Jani clinched the title with fourth place. 

Kerr repeated his win of a year ago at Brands Hatch ahead of USA's Jonathan Summerton and Ireland's Adam Carroll.

Carroll took third from Jani at the start of the race but could do nothing to dislodge Kerr or Summerton ahead of him. 

New Zealand's Jonny Reid saw his team's slim chances of taking the championship, or at least keep the fight going down to the wire disappear when he could do nothing more than climb from tenth to eighth by the end of the race.
