After being fastest in this morning's Rookie session in Malaysia, A1 Team France has tumbled down to fourth as Team GBR posted a lap time six tenths faster in second practice at Sepang.
The lap of 1.50.038 set by England's Danny Watts stood from early on in the session as Switzerland, dominant here last year, recovered from their earlier gearbox problem to be just 72 thousands of a second off the leading pace. India jumped up from seventh earlier on to third in the dying minutes with France in fourth as Loic Duval got his first taste of today's track conditions, having taken over from team-mate Prost after the first session.

As the temperatures and humidity levels increased, the pressure did likewise for home favourites Malaysia as they slid down the order to round out the top 10, with Fairuz Fauzy managing to recover four tenths to finish half a second down as he suffered with understeer. Despite this, the local team did cover the most kilometres in the session along with China, the two nations each completing 22 laps. The one remaining practice before qualifying takes place at 19:00 GMT on Saturday.
