Ireland's Adam Carroll took a dominant win in the feature race at Sepang ahead of Portugal and the USA.
Ireland held the lead at the start of the race and never looked back. Lebanon worked up to second ahead of Britain, Watts making a poor start. There was drama on the first lap though as Netherlands and India collided and sprint race winner Neel Jani retired.
On lap five Britain pitted for a new front wing, dropping down the order. Watts continued until lap 25 before retiring in the pits.
But the day belonged to Carrol, who kept cool out front to take victory.
