A1 Team Netherlands has confirmed that it will retain its driver policy for the remaining two meetings of the season in Portugal and Great Britain. The team will continued to alternate between Jeroen Bleekemolen and Robert Doornbos, as it has for the 2008-09 season so far.
Doornbos will return to the cockpit for Portugal's race on the Algarve on 12 April with Bleekemolen making the final appearance at Brands Hatch on 3 May. The system, which was adopted by the team for the first time this season, has so far been successful and leaves the team fourth in the current standings. The previous system saw the team retaining one driver for the course of the championship.
"We are both doing well," Bleekemolen told the official A1GP website. "It's hard for the team to decide who will drive where but I would just love to do as many races as possible because it's so much fun to race these Ferrari-powered A1GP cars."
